Ever wondered what to do with your old SNES that’s been collecting dust besides getting rid of it? Why not modify it into something else? YouTube user lyberty5, who specializes in creating controller-based mods, not only turned his old SNES controller into a pair of nice looking headphones, but also uploaded a video on how he did it.

While it may not be a god-tier pair of headphones in terms of just about everything (lyberty5 did mention in the beginning of the video that he used a cheap pair of headphones to make this), it definitely looks really cool in a retro, nerdy way, albeit a bit tattered. Damaged or not, wearing these are still more respectable than wearing a shitty pair of Skullcandy or Beats headphones.
Sadly, the buttons have no function and are just there for show. But how cool would it be if they actually did something? I could see the D-pad being used for volume control, though my imagination isn’t creative enough to imagine what the other buttons would do.
